return home
my little cuties actually met me in the airport when i returned home from minneapolis. i didn't stop to take a picture because i wanted to hug them too much, so we recreated one after walking through the terminal. what a wonderful surprise! i missed everyone so much.

trip to rite aid
| good big brother |
the end of may was a busy time. i was rushing around, trying to get ready to leave for the suzuki teachers' conference in minneapolis. i had to pack, had to create presents for j, and organize j's surprise birthday party. we were walking to rite aid this morning to use their fast photo services. s, z, & i were creating a photo book for daddy. they both did a great job of cooperating and moving quickly, and they looked so cute holding hands when walking through the parking lot!

s's last day at a child's way
here's a little movie of clips from s's last day at the pre 2's/2's class at a child's way. i had to deny that it was truly her last day, or i would've spent the whole two hours bawling.

flooded ice rink
another quick update
we've been really behind on the blogging, and i've had several things i've wanted to post, and it's hard to remember everything!
z calls mustaches "mushstashes."
s calls belly buttons "belly bottoms."
z says "susposed" instead of supposed.
one day, z said, "mommy - this floor is really dirty! you should wipe it up!" i got really offended and said, "you wipe it up yourself! why is it MY job?!" grrrrr!
one day later, he saw a spot on the floor, and got out a washcloth and wiped it away. good boy!

camp at amiguitos
this week, both kids had camp at amiguitos. they have been there every single day, 9-1pm. i was worried about s, but she LOVES IT! today (thursday) was the first day she DIDN'T cry when i went to pick her up. she had been crying because she didn't want to go home! and then she always cried again (until today) when i took off her amiguitos camp shirt for nap time.
it has been a busy busy week. we hosted the neighborhood's national night out gathering on tuesday, and tomorrow evening we have j's co-workers coming over for dinner. i'm ready for a vacation!

End of the year festival
Z's school celebrated the end of the year by having all the different classes give performances.
Unfortunately, mommy had to miss the actual show - but I did get to see the dress rehearsal.
Mucho Gracias a Abuela who took lots of pictures!
