Fourth of July evening

There were no fireworks on July 4th, but there was a wicked thunderstorm the previous night with tons of lightning flashes which lasted close to two hours, so I was fine without fireworks. 

S eats her fancy tarts. 

Z eats his fancy tarts. He actually ate them! Most pastries he hasn't eaten at all lately. 

Dark picture from bedtime. Daddy has gotten into the habit of always reading the bedtime stories. Here they were listening and singing along to an e-book which has a song with it. I got a movie of them singing, but blogger won't let me post videos from the phone.
