z at our destination. he had been sleeping (see below), and was cold when he woke up. it was pretty windy up there. we hiked to a lake with a floating island, and were a bit unprepared for the hike's length. so z is wearing an extra shirt grandma had. he looks like e.t.!
here z is zonked out in his pack on daddy. you can see a smaller lake, and lake tahoe in the background.
z is all smiles after the hike. so is grandma!
