z as the police & fire trucks go by. hmm. my child needs a haircut. luckily he's getting one today! so this was our first year actually watching the parade. all other july 4ths we've either been sleeping or out of town. it was a cute little parade. lots of candy thrown at us. some of it hit mommy's legs by some boy scouts with good aim. i imagine z will march in it some day.
