ode to potty training

so, i decided to try potty training again right before spring break. we didn't have any travel plans for spring break, and it was going to be easy to be home that week, so i ditched the diapers on pizza & movie night. it was rough going for soooo long. i told myself i wouldn't give up for 2 weeks. it took much longer, and it is still a work in progress, but she has definitely improved. she knows how to hold it, but also knows that having an accident will get her desired attention. sigh.

we visited my parents' house to water plants, and found that the easter bunny had made an early visit and left us all chocolate eggs. here is s, taking a successful potty break while eating her egg.
