It turns out that Z just wasn't in the mood to go out trick-or-treating Friday evening. So, we didn't get to take him out to say hello to the neighbors, but we did at least get him into his costume long enough to take some pictures:
...in case you couldn't tell, he was a bumble-bee.

that's our cute little bumble bee! you can't really see them, but he actually has wings on his back. very cute!
