las vegas

a picture of the massively overpriced apple strudel from the hofbrau haus. it was good, but really small for the price.

oh dear... well, yes, absolutely not "german" food but bavarian tourist trap food. silly, and non-authentic, but fun nonetheless. the pictures are there precisely for amusement! - glad you enjoyed...

actually, most of the food is relatively authentic, but southern germany (bavaria) seems to be the only part of germany that is represented in "german" restaurants around the world. northern german cuisine, not so much. plus we don't go around wearing the leather pants, the dirndls and the hats with the feathers....the southerners are easier to stereotype... ;)

but beer, lovely beer, is german totally all-round. mmm.
